This is my beloved LCD... It has been with me since June 2005... LG Flatron L1759SQ 17" LCD. cost SGD419....

Just now removed the upper deck of my computer table.. Already make sure nothing hooked on this LCD but somehow.. the cables which tied at the back of the LCD springed back and forced the LCD to drop down on to the floor..

To my horror, it was FACING DOWN... 我的心冷了。 confirm dead....

already jobless for so long.. now still need to buy a new monitor..

I did not make use of any ppl, I didnt betray any ppl, I didnt 陷害 any ppl..

why must u do this to me???

Life story of Jerry

Jerry是美國一家餐廳的經理，

他總是有好心情，當別人問他最近過得如何，
他總是有好消息可以說，

他總是回答『如果我再過得好一些，我就比雙胞胎還幸運囉！』

當他換工作的時候，
許多服務生都跟著他從這家餐廳換到另一家，

為什麼呢？
因為Jerry是個天生的激勵者，

如果有某位員工今天運氣不好，

看到這樣的情境真的讓我很好奇，

所以有一天我到Jerry那兒問他：

『每天早上我起來告訴自己，

我今天有兩種選擇，我可以選擇好心情，或者我可以選擇壞心情，

Jerry說：『的確如此，

數年後，我聽到Jerry意外地做了一件你絕想不到的事：

他們要脅Jerry打開保險箱，

由於過度緊張，

Jerry弄錯了一個號碼，

造成搶匪的驚慌，

開槍射擊Jerry，

幸運地，Jerry很快地被鄰居發現，

緊急送到醫院搶救，

經過18小時的外科 手術，以及密集照顧，

Jerry終於出院了，還有塊子彈留在他身上?

事件發生6個月之後我遇到Jerry，

我問他最近怎麼樣，

他回答：『如果我再過得好一些，我就比雙胞胎還幸運了。要看看我的傷痕嗎？』

我婉拒了，

但我問他當搶匪闖入的時候，他的心路歷程。

Jerry答道：

『我第一件想到的事情是我應該鎖後門的，

當他們擊中我之後，我躺在地板上，

還記得我有2個選擇：

我真的被嚇到了，

我知道我需要採取行動。』

『當時你做了什麼？』我問：

『嗯！當時有個碩大的護士用吼叫的音量問我一個問題，

她問我是否會對什麼東西過敏。

我回答：『有』。

這時醫生跟護士都停下來等待我的回答。

我深深地吸了一口氣喊著：『子彈！』

聽他們笑完之後，

我告訴他們：『我現在選擇活下去，

請把我當作一個活生生的人來開刀，不是一個活死人。』

Jerry能活下去當然要歸功於醫生的精湛醫術，

但同時也由於他令人驚異的

沒有人能夠控制或奪去的東西～就是你的態度。

今天。。。。

昨天，折腾到一点钟才入睡。(鸣谢阿聪尝试开解我）

做了几个噩梦，但只记得这一个。。。。。

妈妈来到新加坡，从厕所走出来的时候，被阶梯给绊倒了。

她整个人扑了出去，转过身子，后脑先着地。 砰一声， 她的眼睛，慢慢的闭了起来。

她好像要告诉我什么的，但是没有机会。

我冲了过去，抱着她，一直喊着，“妈，妈，妈，你醒一醒，不要睡！”

徒劳无功，当时的我，憎恨我自己，没有确保厕所不地滑，没有一份好工作，没有把书念好，没有一个谈婚论嫁的女朋友，让她操心了。

27 岁的我，是真得这么可耻吗？

终于感觉我有一点泪水了，就这样，我不停的喊着我妈妈，

直到我惊醒。

七点十分，起床。

快手快脚的准备就绪，出门去。

等了十五分钟，74号巴士终于来了。 坐了三个站，巴士故障了。

上了别辆74号巴士,暴满了!

好不容易挨到了宏茂桥,转了地铁,到了碧山。时间是早上八点二十分。

Bellyman 八点五十分到。

走着走着，我发觉的左脚的裤子有点湿，看了看，就告诉 Bellyman, 我好像被人泼了水。

他看了一眼，说：“你的书包在滴水了！”

赶紧把背包拿在手上，往Waiphone的住家去。

到了那儿，打开我的背包，淹水了！瓶盖脱落了，600ml 的水全都流了出来。

我的lecture notes湿了，我的pencil case湿了,我的jacket也湿了, 我的calculator - 完蛋了！

书包反了过来，水就流了整地。

9.25am waiphone终于下来了，他载我们一起去NTU。

今天，我的左膝和右膝在不同上楼梯的时候，隐隐作痛。。。。。。

我的师傅要去台湾了！师傅，谢谢今天你请的珍珠奶茶！台湾旅游愉快！ ：D

好累啊，不想再写下去了！

（砂拉越‧诗巫）天津女郎网上结识48岁的本地男子，交往3年间，男子允诺娶她为妻，先后向她借款近12万令吉后消失无踪。

这名李姓的中国女郎不甘被骗財骗色，千里迢迢来到本地向警方报案，要求捉拿昔日情郎。

上週五（4月17日），她从天津搭飞机到吉隆坡，原本要在机场警亭报案，却被告知嫌犯是诗巫人，必须到诗巫报案。

李小姐（40多岁，专业人士）向本地媒体披露，她於2006年在互联网交友网站认识这名刘姓男子，他自称已离婚。

双方曾在天津会面

她指出，两人通过书信、电话、语音及视频等来往，发展成一对情侣。嫌犯曾於2007年到天津与她见面，表示要经营生意，同时也承诺將和她结婚。

“对方和我见面后，也把他的个人文件，包括护照、大马卡等影印本交给我，这让我觉得他有诚意和我交往。过后，他就要求我借钱给他做生意，生意做成的话，就会和我结婚。我也相信了。”

她还办理了一张信用卡附属卡给对方，结果对方购物刷了8700美金（约马幣3万450令吉）。根据有关信用卡帐单显示，他曾经在大马境內利用有关信用卡消费。

“对方多次向我借钱，间中还亲自写下两张共约2万6000令吉的借据，但他都没有还钱。”

以生意不顺利推搪婚事

李女曾多次催促刘姓男子结婚，但他以生意未做成而推搪。

刘男多次表示自己在香港及大马的生意很忙，而且生意不顺利无法与受害者结婚。

最终在追问下，他才坦承本身的婚姻尚未结束。

李女怀疑他有意隱瞒，加上在对方的MSN线上聊天网发现他和一名住在上海的女子有曖昧关係，马上调查他在中国的银行帐目情况，发现他竟然逗留在此市一年多，而且相信是和上述女子同居。

李女马上和他“摊牌”，要求他还钱，但他“避之不应”，不接电话、不回覆手机短讯、更换MSN帐號等。

“我有理由相信他以婚姻做诱饵，然后骗財骗色。我过后用另一个虚构的帐號和他联繫，获得他回应。为免其他女性受骗及追討回我的金钱，我向大马驻中国大使馆瞭解后，决定前来大马报案。”

警促刘姓男子录口供

诗巫警区主任沙菲益助理总监表示，警方接获李女的投报后，已援引刑事法典420条文（欺骗）调查此案。

他促请刘姓男子出面解决事情。

“警方希望可以录取他的口供，以瞭解此事的真实情况。我们不能单听片面之词。”

他说，根据刘姓男子的家人说法，他目前不在本地。

校园外停车场寻猎物‧2匪掳姦学院生

校园外停车场寻猎物‧2匪掳姦学院生

（雪兰莪‧八打灵再也）色魔在校园附近寻找猎物！17岁华裔女学院生独自驱车上学，竟在校园外停车场遭匪徒掳走强姦及抢劫！

驾著红色灵鹿的马来色魔在干下兽行后，还载著受害者到附近银行提款及“游车河”，最后才把她拋弃在电动火车站，绝尘而去。

雪州总警长拿督卡立阿布巴卡受询时证实此案的发生。

这宗掳姦及抢劫案是於週六（4月18日）早上7时30分，发生在双威镇某私立学院的停车场。

受害者过后联络家人，由家人送到附近医院接受检查及治疗，直至週六下午4时，才向警方报案。

由於受害者情绪不稳定，警方於今日（週日，4月19日）才將她带到事发现场展开调查。

消息说，受害者週六早上独自驱车到学院上课，甫抵达学院外停车场，就有两名同乘一辆灵鹿轿车的巫裔男子，把车停在她的轿车旁。

匪徒拿出疑是手鎗

她没想到一下车，就被匪徒手上拿出疑是手鎗的物体所嚇坏，一点都不敢反抗。

两匪將受害者强推上本身的轿车，把她载往2公里外的蒲种市中心，在某处偏僻店屋內强姦了她。

匪徒过后抢走受害者身上的现款、提款卡及收费站一触即通感应器。

匪徒过后嫌钱太少，把身心受创的受害者载到双威镇一间银行，提取出数千令吉才肯罢休；在两个小时后，匪徒才把受害者弃在首邦市的电动火车站。

警方將此案列为刑事法典376∕392∕397（强姦／打劫／持械结伙抢劫）条文调查。

警方：换上假车牌
2色魔轿车是报失车

警方相信两名色魔所乘坐的红色灵鹿匪车，是一辆报失车子，而且车子已换上假车牌。

警方仍在追查这辆轿车的下落。

据瞭解，两名色魔年龄介於20至40岁，身材中等。

警方將在受害者的协助下，画出色魔的样貌拼图，以展开追缉行动。

另一方面，警方不排除匪徒嗑药干案的可能性。

According to DJ from Yes933, it was because most of the Singapore Citizens & Residents can communicate in Mandarin well. Therefore, it is no longer "Speak Mandarin Campaign, it is "Speak Better Mandarin Campaign".

"The Chinese Challenge" is launched to promote better chinese learning among the residents. There are 12 new Questions to challeng your Chinese (Language & History) every week, for consecutive 12 weeks. Qns must be answered between 10am on Monday until 9pm on Sunday.

There are a few types of rewards:
1. 6 ppl who scored the highest from week 1 to week 4
2. 6 ppl who scored the highest from week 5 to week 8
3. 6 ppl who scored the highest from week 9 to week 12

随着社会变迁，年纪偏大、教育程度高、条件好却未拍拖的女性在中国越来越普遍。这样的现象，是否也已渐渐在新加坡社会根植？

根据人口统计数据显示，介于30到34岁的狮城单身女性从2000年的21.9％上升至2007年的28.4％。而在这28.4％的女性当中，拥有大学教育水平的占了最大的比例，达25.8％。

CliqueWise红娘公司创办人颜淑慧（35岁）受询时说，前来参加社交活动的一向以30出头的单身女性居多。这些女性多数是事业基础已稳固，收入相当可观的白领人士。

她指出，这些女性无论择偶条件高不高，如果本身的成就太耀眼，就容易把男人给吓跑。她说：“很多时候，男方的自卑心理造成沟通上的障碍。再加上如果男方大男人主义作祟，要求伴侣一定是个贤惠、千依百顺的女人，就更不可能追求这些自信、成功的新女性。

她认为，所谓热爱艺术的“文艺女青年”，往往较有主见，也敢于抒发自己的看法。她们会要求为自己保留空间，更不善于奉承和讨好。因为这样，这些女性即使有魅力，也会无形中令男人却步。

根据淑慧的观察，有一部分“剩女”择偶条件比较传统，坚持“嫁上”。如果条件已经很优越，要找成就比自己更上一层楼的对象并不简单。也有一些摩登女性太标榜自我主义，要求对方无条件接纳并容忍自己的缺陷——这些都是比较不切实际的考量。

“剩女剩男”各有苦衷？

30岁的何小姐是个持大专文凭，在本地一名中学任教的单身女性。她坦承，无法接受男友的学历比自己低。她说：“之前交过几个学历比自己低的男友，发现解决事情时总会意见分歧。久而久之，情侣之间难免产生摩擦。”

她透露，已经三年没谈恋爱，自己的性格或许是一直找不到对象的原因之一。她说：“我有我的主见，而且做事很果断，一就是一，二就是二。如果你没办法给我答案，我就会帮你安排一切。”

与女性有别，本地单身男子当中，持中学教育程度的占最多数，达36.5％。从事地铁服务业的区耀和（47岁）便是其中一位。他受访时单刀直入地表明，不可能追求学历与成就比自己杰出的女性。他说：“我绝对高攀不了，也没有胆量，因为根本就格格不入。”

对他而言，今时今日女人虽然能经济独立，但也应该具备三从四德。他说：“我不能够接受老婆骑到我头上。如果她经济条件太优越，我们出外应酬时根本就不相配。我觉得女人一定要懂得家政，并愿意照顾孩子。”

对于“剩男”的看法，颜淑慧认为，男人的许多顾虑其实源自虚荣与爱面子的心态。她说：“娶老婆应该是为了和心爱的人开创美满的人生，创立幸福的家庭，而不是为了要满足“管人”的欲望。其实，只要男方顾家，妻子便会因为感受到爱而更愿意顺从，当个‘小女人’。”

她认为，女方也必须愿意调整自己的期望，男方才能更有自信地与她交流。如此一来，情侣之间的沟通才能撇开学历与薪水落差的顾忌，这对双方都比较健康、公平。

KLANG: Two female cleaners who could not come up with any money during a robbery were instead forced to perform oral sex on the robber.

The women, aged 68 and 43, were waiting for their factory van at a bus stop in Jalan Kem in Port Klang at 6.30am when a car stopped in front of them.

The driver pointed a parang at them and demanded for money.

The women were told to get into the car after they told the man they had no money. The man had apparently said that he would send them home.

The driver then drove to an oil palm plantation in Bukit Raja and ordered them to undress him and themselves.

They were then told to perform oral sex on him. The 43-year-old woman was even forced to kiss the man’s backside.

The women were then abandoned in the plantation. They sought help from a foreign worker who brought them out of the plantation.

A passer-by took them to a police station.

Klang district police chief Asst Comm Mohamad Mat Yusop, who related the incident, said the women had been sent to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital for medical examinations.

He said the police were looking for a man in his 30s, who was well built and wore earrings on both ears.

Stefanie Sun returns to the Singapore Indoor Stadium in July with a brand new world tour!

“The Answer Is… Stefanie Sun World Tour 2009”, which will kick off from Taipei in May, promises to be a visual feast. Hong Kong’s renowned stage art director, William Chang, is the image consultant, and Wing Shya, the photographer and concert artwork designer. The concert will also feature an exclusive multifaceted stage design, with extensive use of holograms instead of the usual two-dimensional projections.

Having been actively involved in many aspects of the tour since its conceptualization, Stefanie says this concert is very close to her heart.

My Birthday Present from A Liang

He is the only kindergarten friend, which I still rmb and kept in contact.. We were classmates in Bo Ai Kindergarten (Christian Kindergarten), in my hometown, Batu Pahat

I still remember our class was called “牵牛花班” - Morning Glory . Our classroom was in the end of the row, which was just next to the canteen (erm.. the canteen was actually the place where they prepared our food, we had to eat our food in our class :D )

The playground was quite near to our classroom as well.

Even until now, A Liang still "proudly" tell everybody that he still keeps the eraser, which we exchanged during our kindergarten time....

Haha... I really couldn't remember that anymore..

We were in same Primary School and Secondary school!!!

From P1 to P3, he was in Class 1 while I was in Class 2. From P4 to P6, we were classmates again.. - Class 1.

From our Peralihan until Sec 3, we were class mates, in Class A. Sec 4 & Sec 5 we were in different class, Class A & Class B respectively.

**PS** Peralihan [Malay] (we called it Remove , which means you need to study one year after u graduate from Primary 6 and before you study for Secondary 1)

2.5 years ago, when 8193 was about to go US, she was required to go for interview, signing contracts and so on.

I contacted Liang and asked to stay at their room for 2 days.. He would also drive us to the centre for 8193 to attend her interview, contract signing, etc. While we were waiting downstairs (yes, only applicant is allowed to go in, two of us had to wait outside), we were talking about future disaster.. LoL..

During that evening, A Liang gave us a treat on Bah Kut Teh.. (yes I still rmb that was bah kut teh, but not Ampang Bah Kut Teh hor!) At night, A Liang and his gf let us slept in their room. End up Jessie & Liang slpt with their housemates..

8193 was paiseh and told me to stay at other place on the 2nd day but end up we still lodged for another day. It was too inconvenient to move around KL, since I dun feel safe...

8193 said she will remember their kindness forever.. (haha Liang, u dun believe leh....)

2 years ago, A Liang bought me a Polo T.
Last year, I bought him a Polo T.

This year... A Liang bought me another birthday present.. He passed it to my mum on early March but my mum forgot to tell me until A Liang reminded me.. LoL..

2 weeks ago, when I was in BP, I brought this present to SG..

It is Philips GoGear 2GB MP3 Player!!!! Haha... it was really a big surprise.. It was too expensive la... -.-"
As you know I've no fate to own an MP3, all the past three Mp3 that I bought for myself were not meant to be with me...

Now, I am afraid that I will lose this MP3 player... Geeze.. Must protect it very well now.. LoL..

*PS* Friday went to Book Fair, Megatex (COURS IT fair) and John Little Sales @ Expo after the breakfast session at IKEA. I managed to buy 4 formal wear shirt at SGD18.00 each!! Yeah.. I dont have to run here and there to look for formal wear anymore. :D

Over the past few weeks, I have been going to IKEA with my sister's whole family. We had the delicious yet cheap breakfast over there..

After the breakfast, we would walk around and looking for all types of furniture. We (yeah, I am included -.-" )

I have a concern.. when am I going to move out from this place.. Obviously, my sis didnt have this plan yet but we would wait for another 4 to 5 years..

So right now, we have to clear a lot of shitty things (yeah, they are shitty.. coz u dont bear to throw them away, yet u keep there and do not use them).. My room become dimmer after I changed my bed & computer table's location.

So right now, it was an "obscene" to my sis. She complains that the room is dim.. no longer bright.. Hehe.. I am well aware.. just "ignore" it :D

It was certainly that I will be buying a new computer table w/o cabinet or drawer. All the things in my cabinet & drawer at this computer table would need to find a new accommodation..

Yeah.. SGD39 dollar, we saw it at IKEA.. it should be the one.. So today I was a bit busy in the noon time to clear my table.. Yeah it was messy.. and u can't imagine how messy it was..

Well, end up all inside my cabinet & drawer... It was just "shifting" places.. (as usual).. Just dun mess up my computer table.. Okay.. that's fine for me.. :D

Just now went to Chinese 跌打. Still rmb i hurt my right thumb on January 2009?? I still could not use the strength on my right thumb. So I went to this Chinese 跌打 with my sister.

He asked me to press on the two points on my right hand and compared to my left hand.. Yeah.. I found that there was some swollen part on my right hand.. He explained to me that my bone structure was a bit shifted out..

WTF?? shifted...... GEEZE!!!

So he helped to shift back the bone structure.. I'm so sorry, my english is not so good cannot describe them..

首先，擦一些跌打油，在我右手拇指的骨骼推呀推。 八分钟后，进入小房间，躺在床上，放轻松。。。。他就在我的拇指拉一拉。 接下来，换食指，中指，无名指以及尾指。 接下来，他在我的拇指快速的一拉！我听到"crack crack" 的声音。然后，他把我的拇指轻轻的拉上再拉下。 我感觉到我的拇指在关节上磨擦。

我的背也有问题。但是，他叫我下一次才去。因为，这会很痛的。。要我有心理准备。。。

My 12th Blood donation with disappointment

Today's appointment was at 1.30pm.. Dun & T2 promised to go with me.. They were going for whole blood donation.

Went out at 1030am to meet a friend of mine. Then I headed to Outram Park at around 12.30pm. I reached Outram Park at 1pm, coincidentally same timing with T2.

Today blood bank was crowded. I asked the registration counter staff why today so special - crowded. (it was completely different from the day that I went to help out 2 weeks ago). He told me," Most of them respond to the sms/email sent to them."

Yeah.. I rmb Idy was asking for more blood donor, especially O type blood donors due to some operations to be carried out.. Great to see so many ppl today...

Dun was rejected as he has eczema - a kind of skin allergy. He was sad, so was I. I called to HSA and asked and they said shd be okay if the condition is mild. However, the doctor told him that they afraid that his blood is contaminated.. -.-"

Today, they let me to donate platelet using that machine again.. ah.. now I couldnt rmb its name again.. but I rmb its location.. it is very special machine. I think it is the only one unique machine..

This machine took me about 1.5 hours (from the pt to start my donation - since I pump my blood out). The other machine merely an hour or so.. Today.. this machine took me about 1 hour 25minutes.. (yeah.. 5 minutes faster as I pumped my blood fast due to my bad experience last month)..

The guy who started his donation about 15 minutes later than me, already finished bandaged by the nurse and gone while I was still doing my last cycle.. u know how tiring I was lying on the comfortable chair over there?

I was going to doze off.... It was tiring for me, and perhaps - torturing...

When the nurse was bandaging my arm, I complained to her, I would not want to use this machine anymore.. She was surprised and asked," Why? Quite a lot of donors like this machine."

HELL YEAH! I was completely shocked and told her, "It took me 20 minutes to 30 minutes longer than the rest of the machines...."

Then she replied," Those whose platelet count was too low would love to use this machine as it would be faster for them... I would need to check why last month they let you to use this machine.."

Then I was really 恍然大悟... Last month was MERELY because they let all those "FAMILIAR" donors to use other machine, left me -newbie (yeah still newbie compared to those REGULAR DONORS) to use that machine...

and I SWEAR! I would reject that machine from now on.. dont torture me. I merely want to donate platelet to help others!

One more thing... today i feel a bit pain during the donation.. I think the needlees might not be injected in properly. Even until 630pm, it was still a bit pain until I doze off due to tiredness (perhaps fatigue)...

This photo is what I wanted to post long ago.. Their "new" bandage colour - skin colour.. this is no longer that "new" as I've seen it over the past 3 months.. I wonder when did they start to have this..

Formula 1 2009 second race - Malaysia Sepang Circuit . Heavy rain forces suspension of Malaysian Grand Prix

The Malaysian Grand Prix has been suspended due to heavy rain after 33 laps at Sepang. The race could yet restart if conditions improve sufficiently.

When the race was suspended, Brawn's Jenson Button was leading from Toyota's Timo Glock and and BMW Sauber's Nick Heidfeld.

Half points will be awarded if the race cannot be restarted. Results will follow when available.

Position 9. F.Massa (1st Runner up Year 2008, a point behind 2008 World Champion L.Hamilton)

Position 11. F.Alonso (2 time World Champion (2005 & 2006) consecutive 2 years)

**The race was not completed 75%, hence the awarded points was cut by half.
The champion is awarded with 5 points, instead of 10 points.
The rests are awarded with 4, 3, 2.5, 2, 1.5, 1, 0.5 points respectively, instead of 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 points

Ferrari team is not having a good start in year 2009 again, after seeing the same phenomena last year. The team had made some risky decisions, which proved that they didn't pay off.. Look at the decision made in Malaysia Grand Prix.. There was lightning over the sky in Sepang. However, there wasn't any signal of downpour or even light rain.

The team had decided to changed wet tyres for Kimi Raikkonen. I like the statement in F1 Live Timing.. "This decision is a gamble".. While the rest of the teams were getting their cars to be equipped with soft tyres, this "gamble" is indeed to either put him far ahead of the rest of the drivers shd the heavy downpour start immediately after he changed his wet tyres; or put him at the last position shd there was no any rains at all..

K.Raikkonen had to bear with the wet tyres to run on dry lanes... He could not fully utilise his skills as well as his car's performance. He was stucked with Position 14 (2 cars were out of race) ever since the tyres were changed to wet tyres. It means that he was at the last 4 position among all the drivers.

On lap 22, the rains started... All the drivers pit in and changed to wet tyres.. However, K.Raikkonen could not catch to front as he was losing badly due to the wet tyres. Therefore, he still couldn't take in the lead and stayed behind of the drivers after they were out of the pit..

This is sad~! However, u can take it as it was just losing a gamble... haiz..

On Lap 33, due to torrential rains. The safety car was deployed. The red flag was showed & the race was suspended. Due to the limit of 2 hours race, Malaysia Grand Prix was terminated and the results were taken according to the drivers position at the time the safety car was deployed.
