2nd blood donation

After I graduated from SP, I joined into workforce in Creative Technology. I had read through company intranet to look for blood donations. Hoever, the blood donation campaign is no longer organised over there.

I was once talked with my colleagues and a few attachment students for their interests in blood donation. I was thinking of giving HR a call and asking them for organising blood donation. MIND YOU! I was not crazy. There was a statement in the intranet, which gave the meaning that you can ask the HR to organise blood donation if you have found a number of donors.

However, planning & action is just like dreaming & reality... Until the day I no longer working in Creative Technology, I havent gone for any blood donation!!!

My 2nd blood donation details:
Date: 16 Dec 2006 (Saturday)
Venue: Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station
Time: 2.30pm - 5.00pm

We were heading back home after working half day at Singapore Asahi (in Clementi). I went to Orchard Road with KW & his gf, MeiTing. Forgot why I contacted Noel, he told me that he was filling up the blood donor conscience form and prepared to go for blood donation.

After finished our lunch, KW wanted to his gf to work. Then I was heading back home. It was a good time for me to go for blood donation! So I alighted at Dhoby Ghaut and contacted Noel again. He said too many ppl. He was supposed to meet his gf, so he gave up.

When I went there, the helpers over there told me it is better for me to go to Plaza Singapura to stroll around for about 30 minutes as the queue is too long.. Heeding to his advice, I walked around PS just to pass the 30 minutes.. When I returned there, I found that I was TOO NAIVE. I still need to queue up as per normal. It means that what I had done was just wasting my time..

The nurse at the registration counter couldnt track my blood donation record as I gave her my student pass number & my PR IC number. After 15 minutes searching through their server & called to the HQ, my record was finally identified.. Aw.. I used my PASSPORT number when I was in SP... GOSH~ Really felt so sorry to her, I made her bz....
