Motorola cuts 3,000 jobs, delays spinoff of cell phone unit
NEW YORK : Motorola Inc. announced on Thursday that it was cutting its global workforce by 4.5 percent, or some 3,000 employees, and delaying the spinoff of its troubled cell phone unit.
Motorola, the largest US mobile phone manufacturer, announced the job cuts just hours after reporting a quarterly net loss of nearly 400 million dollars and said more than two-thirds of the layoffs would be in the handset division.
The ailing company had 66,000 employees worldwide at the end of 2007.
The Schaumburg, Illinois-based company said it suffered a net loss of 397 million dollars in the third quarter of the year after reporting a net profit of 60 million dollars for the same period last year.
Motorola lowered its forecast for the rest of the year and said it would carry out cost-cutting moves next year expected to result in annual savings of some 800 million dollars.
It said separation of the struggling mobile phone unit from the rest of the company was now "targeted beyond 2009."
"While our strategic intent to separate the company remains intact, we are no longer targeting the third quarter of 2009," Sanjay Jha, Motorola co-chief executive and head of its mobile devices division, said in a statement.
Jha, who took over the mobile devices unit in August, attributed the delay to "the macroeconomic environment, stresses in the financial markets and the changes underway in Mobile Devices.
"As part of our plan to rebuild Mobile Devices, we have announced significant actions to accelerate the consolidation of our product platforms and refocus our investment and market priorities," he said.
"These efforts will result in a leaner organization with a more competitive and cost-effective product portfolio."
The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that Motorola plans to cut back on the number of software platforms it uses in its mobile phones.
Jha is looking at using Google's Android open-source operating system and just two other software platforms -- Microsoft's Windows Mobile and its own P2K platform -- and would abandon at least four other platforms, the paper said.
It said Motorola is hoping that using an open-source platform will spur outside developers to come up with applications that would allow Motorola to compete with Apple's iPhone and Research In Motion's BlackBerry.
Motorola has been losing ground in recent years to Apple and RIM as well as other major cell phone makers such as Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson.
The world's fourth-largest mobile phone maker reported third-quarter sales of 7.5 billion dollars, down 15 percent from the same period last year.

WASHINGTON (AFP) - - The popular ballad "Lady in Red" is poised to take on a whole new meaning: a study published Tuesday showed that the color red makes men see women as hotter or, more scientifically put, more attractive.

Researchers from the University of Rochester in New York conducted five psychological experiments to demonstrate that the color red makes men feel more amorous toward women.
In the experiments, groups of young men looked briefly at a picture of a moderately attractive woman printed on a red background, and the same woman then on a white, grey or green background. They also looked at a woman in red clothing, and the same one in blue clothing.
The men found the lady with a red background more attractive, both physically and sexually.
Comparing the woman in a red shirt to the same woman dressed in blue, men said they were more likely to ask the lady in red on a date and to lavish more money on her.
As part of one of the experiments, as well, the researchers sought to see whether a group of women were similarly more attracted to the woman shown against a red backdrop than a background of a different color. They were not.
What the researchers call the "red-sex link" could have roots in humans' biological heritage.
For instance, among primates, females display more red on parts of their body when they are nearing ovulation, probably to attract the male of the species.
"Research has shown that male primates are indeed particularly attracted to female conspecifics exhibiting red," the study says.
To the authors of the study, University of Rochester psychology professor Andrew Elliot and post-graduate researcher Daniela Niesta, the experiments' findings confirm what "women have long suspected and claimed: that men act like animals in the sexual realm."
And, they added, the fact that men are more turned on by women in red also confirms that, although men like to think that they respond to women "in a thoughtful and sophisticated manner, it appears that at least to some degree their preferences and predilections are, in a word, primitive.

秋杰路警察局要搬迁，本来是一件很平常的事。但是，警局搬迁的原因不是因为当地缺乏人气，冷冷清清，太平盛世，而是环境不卫生以及当地罪案率高的缘故。搬迁理由不只牵强，更让人民摸不著头脑，感觉非常奇怪和难以置信。
警察的天职不是维持社会治安，保卫人民財富吗？为何当局在一个所谓“罪犯天堂”的秋杰路警察局
选择搬迁，而不是想尽办法打击罪犯呢？
在一个罪案率高的地区，警察若无能为力，还有谁有能力对抗坏人，当地居民、商家还是游客吗？试问，这个地区还能住人吗？
警方应该正面看待罪案与卫生问题才对，而不是消极选择放弃离开。如果当局认为现有警力不足以保护警员安全或严打罪犯，当局是不是应增加警力，以及训练警员身手和提高专业水平？
如果说警局的环境不够卫生，当局是不是可以向吉隆坡市政局投诉，要求官员认真执行美化城市计划，天天打扫秋杰路地区？
当然，上述所提的一些方案也许是一般居民或警方本身都想到的。只是问题关键在於当局有没打击罪犯和保卫社会安寧的意志与决心。如果有部份警员的想法是希望能在舒適环境和少有罪案的地区上班，那么也许只能说，警察行业不適合这类想法的警员。
坐落在繁荣闹市中的秋杰路原是纪念社会名人富豪陆秋杰。然而，现在的秋杰路不是环境清幽舒適或上流人士出没地区；而是人蛇混杂的红灯区，治安也亮红灯。一个环境的好与坏，除了风水问题，可说是由人打造出来的，怎样的人，就造就怎样的环境。
话说回来，国內治安败坏已不是新鲜课题。朝野政党经常在国会为社会治安和整顿警队课题爭辩不休；可是，现今的治安问题与警方的办事能力有没获得改善？人民对警方的公信力有没提昇？
以前，坏人只在晚间干案，现在，无论早午晚，只要走在路边、家门前、公园、银行外、加油站等，都可能被攫匪盯上。
目前经济不景气，可预见是罪犯將更加猖獗，威胁社会安寧。我们的警察必须下定决心面对挑战、改变观念、改善工作態度，认真执法为民除害。

Policemen beat a retreat
KUALA LUMPUR: A police beat base located in the Chow Kit area of downtown Kuala Lumpur has been shut down because the “presence of criminals could make it unsafe” for police officers.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said the beat base was located in a dirty area where police faced the possibility of being exposed to contagious diseases.
The presence of criminals also posed a threat to the safety of police officers.
He said this in a written reply to Dr Lo’ Lo’ Mohamad Ghazali (PAS - Titiwangsa).
Dr Lo’ Lo’ had asked why the beat base along Jalan Haji Taib was closed considering that vice activities were high in the area.
She also wanted to know what kind of action had been taken by the police to curb vice activities in the Chow Kit area.
Syed Hamid said police were in the midst of finding a new location for the beat base.
In an immediate response, City Chief Police Officer Deputy Comm Datuk Mohd Sabtu Osman said the beat base was not shut down but relocated to bigger premises near Jalan Raja Bot.
“We moved there to provide better service as we have increased our manpower and need more space,” he said.
Dr Lo’ Lo’s question was the 30th in the Order Paper and hence did not get a mention in the House during the daily one-hour Question Time.
However, Dr Mohd Hatta Ramli (PAS - Kuala Krai) managed to raise the matter when he interjected during Azmin Ali’s (PKR - Gombak) speech during the debate on Budget 2009.
Dr Mohd Hatta said that if the police themselves felt unsafe in a beat base, it would be even worse for the public.
“Maybe it would be better to put the beat base in the army barracks.”
Dr Mohd Hatta then managed to raise the issue again during his own debate on Budget 2009 saying that Syed Hamid’s response was irrational and hoped he would clarify his written answer as this was not the kind of police the people wanted.
“The police are there to make a place safe. If they themselves are scared and run away, how can we hope for others to want to be there?” he asked.
Dr Mohd Hatta said if the place was dirty, it was up to the police to organise gotong-royong activities to clean it up.
He added the only kind of contagious disease in the area was sexually transmitted, adding that getting infected was a matter of choice.

KUALA TERENGGANU: A 15-year-old sneaked out of her Kampung Ajil home about 1.30am on Friday for a romantic tryst with her boyfriend. It turned into a nightmare of sexual violence as she was gang-raped by her 15-year-old boyfriend and seven others, aged 15 to 19
Her boyfriend had taken her to a vacant house where he and three others raped her.
She has identified the three as locals from her village, said a police spokesman.
He then took her to another vacant house in a nearby village where she was forced to have sex with four strangers.
When they were done, he was dropped off at a friend's home. She lodged a police report later that day.
Her boyfriend and an 18-year-old from the same village have been arrested.
Police are searching for the remaining six suspects who are believed to be in hiding.

TAMPIN: A Form Three student from a secondary school near here was repeatedly raped by a bogus policeman in a rubber plantation in Felda Bukit Rotan near here early on Wednesday morning.
The girl was on her way home about 1am after going to Gemas town with her boyfriend when they did not realise they were being followed by two men in a car from Gemas to Felda Jelai.
When they reached a bridge at Pasir Besar, the vehicle overtook their van and forced them to stop.
It is learnt that as soon as the boyfriend stopped the van, a man opened the door and identified himself as a policeman before pulling out a knife and holding it to the boy-friend's abdomen.
The couple were forced to drive to a nearby rubber plantation where the two men then asked the boyfriend to stay in the van while one of them took the girl out.
The man then ordered the girl to undress and threatened her with the knife. He slapped her a few times when she refused.
While one of the men stood guard at the van with the boyfriend, the other raped the girl thrice till about 6am before the two men left the couple at the plantation.
The victim and her boyfriend later lodged a report at the Gemencheh police station.
District police chief Superintendent Zull Aznam Harun confirmed that a report had been lodged and that police had mounted a search for the suspects.
He said the victim had been sent to the Tampin Hospital for a medical check-up.

PONTIAN: A 25-year-old woman who forgot to lock the front door of her house in Taman Megah was raped by an intruder yesterday morning. The woman woke up about 1am to find a masked man in her bedroom. After raping her, the man, believed to be in his 20s, robbed her of cash and valuables. She lodged a report at the Pontian district police headquarters. She said just before she went to bed, she had gone out to check on her laundry that was drying in the garden.

Cashier killed in cybercafe attack
JOHOR BARU: A cybercafe cashier in Taman Setia Indah here was killed and two of his co-workers badly injured when they were attacked by five parang-wielding men yesterday.
The masked assailants entered the cybercafe about 12.30am when it was about to close.
They set upon the three workers, slashing them in the head, arms and body. The shop was empty at that time.
Acting state Criminal Investigation Department chief Assistant Commissioner Che Yussof Che Ngah said initial investigations showed the assailants had not tried to rob the workers.
He said the assailants escaped in a waiting car immediately after the incident.
The victims were rushed to Sultanah Aminah Hospital after police arrived but the 21-year-old cashier died on the way to hospital.
Police withheld his identity as well as those of his colleagues, both believed to be in their 20s.
The condition of one of the injured workers was so serious that he had to be transferred to a hospital in Singapore later.
Yussof said a manhunt had been launched for the five suspects, believed to be locals in their 20s.
"We are also trying to verify the possibility that the suspects and the victims knew each other," he said, adding that those with information should contact the nearest police station.

District police chief Superintendent Zull Aznam Harun confirmed that a report had been lodged and that police had mounted a search for the suspects.

Raped by intruder
PONTIAN: A 25-year-old woman who forgot to lock the front door of her house in Taman Megah was raped by an intruder yesterday morning. The woman woke up about 1am to find a masked man in her bedroom. After raping her, the man, believed to be in his 20s, robbed her of cash and valuables. She lodged a report at the Pontian district police headquarters. She said just before she went to bed, she had gone out to check on her laundry that was drying in the garden.

Cashier killed in cybercafe attack
JOHOR BARU: A cybercafe cashier in Taman Setia Indah here was killed and two of his co-workers badly injured when they were attacked by five parang-wielding men yesterday.
The masked assailants entered the cybercafe about 12.30am when it was about to close.
They set upon the three workers, slashing them in the head, arms and body. The shop was empty at that time.
Acting state Criminal Investigation Department chief Assistant Commissioner Che Yussof Che Ngah said initial investigations showed the assailants had not tried to rob the workers.
He said the assailants escaped in a waiting car immediately after the incident.
The victims were rushed to Sultanah Aminah Hospital after police arrived but the 21-year-old cashier died on the way to hospital.
Police withheld his identity as well as those of his colleagues, both believed to be in their 20s.
The condition of one of the injured workers was so serious that he had to be transferred to a hospital in Singapore later.
Yussof said a manhunt had been launched for the five suspects, believed to be locals in their 20s.
"We are also trying to verify the possibility that the suspects and the victims knew each other," he said, adding that those with information should contact the nearest police station.

Human beings
A young couple moves into a new neighborhood. The next morning, while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbor hang the wash outside.
That laundry is not very clean, she said, she doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap.
Her husband looked on, but remained silent. Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry, the young woman would make the same comments.
About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband: "Look! She has learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this."
The husband said: "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows!"
And so it is with life: "What we see when watching others depends on the purity of the window through which we look. Before we give any criticism, it might be a good idea to check our state of mind and ask ourselves if we are ready to see the good rather than to be looking for something in the person we are about to judge. "

医生：敏杉已经渡过了危险期，她需要大量的休息，明天你们再来看她吧！

叙述：
敏杉一直在奔跑，她周围都是灰黑色的建筑，有些明星的高楼都被毁了，有些
还还出深色的浓烟，敏杉还在跑着，不小心跌倒了，她惊觉自己流出的血是黑
色的。
杉：（回音）这是什么地方？放我出去，快放我出去。
叙述：
敏杉这时被一堵灰墙墙着，她想回头头现又是另一堵灰墙，她已经被囚进一间
只能看到四堵墙的牢房。敏杉尝尝去推那堵墙，这才知道她原来有一股很大的
力量因为墙竟然推得动。敏杉快速地冲前，大力一撞！前面出现了各种种色的
花卉、建筑、彩虹种七彩的飞翔鸟儿，敏杉唱着歌、跳起舞。眼睛一开！
颖：敏杉！你醒了？！
杉：（虚弱地）颖蓁，我。。。
颖：敏杉你没事了，现在是凌晨5 点多，医生劝劝大家先回去休息，岳恩和岳
凌应应很快就会来看你。
杉：你怎么不回去休息？
颖：敏杉，我好担心，担心你有事，如果你头生什么事，我这一生都没法原谅
自己，我刚才在家祈求神仙保佑你，我愿意用我的生命来换取你醒过来的机会
。
杉：别别了颖蓁。
颖：敏杉，你需要喝水吗？我去叫护士。

叙述：
刚才的那些谈谈，岳恩和岳凌早就听到了，只是这么突如其来的一个问问，颖
蓁一时也不知道应怎么回答。

杉：还好。恩，对不起让你操心了。
恩：答应我，别再做别事。

就是其中一间，已经是半年前的事了，看你到处开演唱会，敏杉又忙着和岳恩
到处旅行就没告诉你们。
杉：Cafe215 对我们5 个人很有意义，是我们5 个人每年都来聚会的地方。
颖：从今天开始，每年的2 月15 日，你们的聚会全算我的！
柄：颖蓁，我们不是这个意思但你这么这持，那就。。。好吧！

颖蓁已经完全放弃唱歌的梦想，她觉得在台下当个观众听岳凌唱歌更是一种享
受，美君是两个孩子的妈，生活美满，诗玲和交往了不久的Lucas 正在热恋，
每天都是甜甜蜜蜜。岳凌说说代言和开演唱会已经让她喘不过气来，而她和敬
阳还在一起，在媒体面前也不避嫌地牵手拥吻，羡煞旁人。柄文在新加坡的乌
节路开了自己的美头屋，去做头头的都是高官名人，要柄文剪个头头，除非你
是岳凌，不然他会收215 元。岳恩成为了体育频道最出色的主持人，一有时间
就和敏杉环游世界。

These include: They stripped down to their bras "I picked up three girls outside a club in the central area of Singapore one night. "They were fairly young, in their early 20s, but they dressed more elegantly than other girls their age so I suspect they could have been escorts.
"Five minutes into the journey, one of them told me not to turn around. "I could hear all three girls stripping and changing in my back seat. It took a while, but they weren't shy at all. If I had looked into the rear mirror, I could have seen everything!" I could have raped her "She hopped into my cab one night when the Boat Quay pubs were closing. "The minute she got in, she muttered a condominium's name in the Bukit Merah area and passed out. I couldn't smell alcohol on her so she must have been drugged out on something else. Raped after a night out in town with friends, J wrote in to share her ordeal, and to question how many victims have remained silent like herself, as a result of insensitive handling of such cases.
The STOMPer says she was prompted to write in about her encounter after reading a recent article in the papers.
In her email to STOMP, she says:
"This incident happened when I was just 18, many years ago.
"I had gone for drinks with my friends and it was at the old Ridley's Bar, which is now defunct.
"It was another friend's birthday so we all had too much to drink that night.
"So when a male acquaintance, whom I knew was a steward then, offered to give me a lift, I thought, why not, since we lived in the East.
"That was the most stupid mistake made in my life.
"He took the ECP and I fell asleep.
"The next thing I knew he was all over me. I fought him but he was much bigger.
"At the end of it all I was in a state of shock.
"The next day, my best friend went with me to Geylang Police Station. Before that I went to the clinic to get checked. I had bruises and cuts everywhere.
"You would think that being assaulted was bad enough; what the attending officer did at the reception made me walk out of the police station.
"As I was waiting to make my report, the officer attending to me shouted across to another female officer loudly:
"Potential rape case!"

2 guards, maid held over rape

KLANG: The four security guards were supposed to be protecting the houses in Bandar Bukit Tinggi 2.
Instead, they were sneaking into one of them and raping a 14-year-old mentally-impaired girl.
They were believed to have been doing this for the past month, but this came to a stop this week when police arrested two of the guards and a maid working for the family of the victim.
The other two guards have gone into hiding.
The guards' crime came to light only when police questioned the victim about a robbery that had taken place at the family's home on Monday.
Three men armed with parang had robbed the family of RM10,000 and a laptop.
In the course of the investigation, police had interviewed the girl and she had blurted out that some men had been "playing" with her at night.
Sources said the girl told police the maid had let the men into the house at night.
The maid later confessed that she had become acquainted with the men, whom she identified as the guards of the housing estate, while they were on their patrols.
It was through the maid that the guards found out about the girl's condition.
She helped them by allowing them into the house while the family was asleep.
The guards and the maid warned the girl not to tell anyone about what had been going on.
Sources said police at first thought the guards were the ones who had robbed the family, but the maid denied this.

I will be helping out there from 3pm to 6pm.
If you are First time donor, please don't be afraid. There are full of professional to take care of you & guide you.. And of course, I will not be one of them. I will only know my job scope on that day.. I believe I will be working on those tiny things, such as distributing flyers / tissues / bag of appreciation, coordinating the queue, etc..
Please COME & SUPPORT the blood donation drive. The blood bank @ HSA NEEDS your contribution.
A packet of your blood - 450 g (equivalent to 450ml) , can SAVE 3 LIVES!!!

KUALA LUMPUR - A couple who went to a relative's house for Hari Raya and agreed to an 'alternative treatment' to rid them of their problems, ended up dead after being battered with helmets and broomsticks during the cleansing ritual.
Five others who also participated in the ritual, including the couple's children and relatives, suffered head injuries and were being treated at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital here.
City CID chief Senior Asst Comm II Ku Chin Wah identified the dead as Mohd Ibrahim Kader Mydin, 47, a cellular phone dealer, and his wife Rosina S.M. Mydin Pillay, 41.
It is learnt that the couple and their three children - two boys aged 19 and 14 and daughter, 21 - had gone to the relative's flat unit on Jalan San Peng here on Wednesday morning.
There, they were greeted by the victims' brother, wife and four children, aged between eight and 23.
Both families were believed to have recently joined a cult.
The victim was said to have been impressed by a nephew's claim that he (the nephew) was told in a dream that he had the power to rid people of their illness and problems.
It was believed both families agreed to participate in the 'ritual' treatment that involved the beating of each other with helmets and broomsticks.
During the ritual, the couple passed out and never regained consciousness.
At 3pm, the nephew assured the rest of the family they had nothing to worry and to have faith in him as the couple would wake up soon.
'But at around 9pm, they realised that the motionless couple had died and immediately called for an ambulance.
'Medical personnel who arrived at the scene pronounced the couple dead and police, who were also present, detained eight people including four family members on the spot,' SAC Ku said.
However, four of them were released after questioning.
The post-mortem results showed that the couple had died from serious head injuries. At 8pm Thursday, their bodies had not been claimed.
Police believe the nephew to be the main suspect and are investigating claims that he suffered from a mental illness.
SAC Ku said police seized two bloodied helmets and several broomsticks believed to have been used in the ritual.
He said police obtained a seven-day remand order for the four to assist in investigations under Section 302 and 304 of the Penal Code.

THREE people contracted the potentially lethal dengue virus from a blood donor in Singapore last year, according to a report in the New England Journal of Medicine that exposes a vulnerability in the city's blood supply, Bloomberg news reported on Thursday.
Two men, aged 64 and 72, suffered fever, muscle pain and fluid build-up in their chests after receiving blood donated by a 52-year-old man, scientists led by Dr Paul Tambyah at the National University of Singapore said in the report. A third man, 74, was infected without suffering any symptoms. All three were discharged from hospital in good health, the report said.
Singapore doesn't screen blood donors for dengue because available tests would take four weeks, rendering blood platelets that must be used within five days useless, Mr Tan Hwee Huang, deputy division director of blood supply at the Health Sciences Authority, told Bloomberg in a telephone interview on Tuesday.

杉：Why doctor? Is something wrong?

叙述：
敏杉不相信，绝对不相信这样的事情竟然会发生在她身上，爱滋病血液
检测竟成阳性。她还能活多久，接下来还会有什么事情会发生在自己的
身上，她还能继续写歌吗？她最爱的岳恩怎么办？本来已经觉得自己身
体不干净，现在她更认为自己身体的血液很污浊。敏杉站在路中央，任
由交通灯转绿再转红，她一直在想着，像一只正在发呆的木娃娃。
Auntie 甲：小姐，你是要过马路的吗？绿灯了咧！
杉：Huh？
叙述：
敏杉这才回过神来，她没目的的走着，从欧南园走到牛车水再走到克拉
码头，敏杉终于停了下来。她望着新加坡河上供游客乘坐的船只来来往
往，想像着自己也曾以游客的身份在巴黎旅行，只不过。。。

叙述：

叙述：
敏杉只想听到岳恩的声音，可是岳恩却一直没接电话，敏杉从来没有因
为找不到岳恩而这么慌过。她尝试了再尝试，但岳恩还是没有接电话。
她一直在想，如果岳恩也因为她而染病，她将永远没法忘记肮脏的自
己。

导播：等一下你们每个将会轮流到第3 摄影棚接受试镜，千万不要紧
张，慢慢地自我介绍然后再介绍然后再介绍一位你最欣赏的运动员。试

叙述：
岳恩心情还蛮紧张，他真的很希望自己可以成功过关，因为这始终是一
份他会喜欢的工作。但试镜对岳恩来说是完全陌生的。
男A：哇！好紧张，你是第几个呀？
恩：我是第5 个。
男A：我是第3 个，下一个就轮到我了，突然脑袋一片空白，不知道应该
说些什么。

恩：我想自然最重要，等一下最重要是做回自己，一放轻松应该就不怕
说不出话了。
男A：哇！你好像很有经验？
恩：哈。。。这也是我的第一次。
男A：那你一定会被选中，你长得这么帅，话语讲得这么流利又有高度，
他们不选你才怪！
恩：每个人都有公平的机会，可能不是你也不是我反而是第一位试镜的
人呢？
男A：讲真的，这是多少男人梦寐以求的工作，5 位数的酬劳还有额外置
装费，又有那么多美女工作人员，谁不要呀？
恩：我倒没想到这些，只是觉得运动本来就是我喜欢的东西，能够每天
接触到运动是件非常开心的事。
男A：哇！你真的很cool，说的话也很有道理。
导播：Ok，第3 位。
男A：Wish me luck！ See you later。
叙述：
岳恩真的没抱很大的希望，他害怕失望。虽然他真的很希望能够赚多一
点钱，不让老爸看不起，也希望可以让敏杉过得好一些。
导播：接下来是第5 位！
叙述：
岳恩走进摄影棚，5 个样子严肃的评判坐在前方，其中一位是我国的泳将
洪秉祥。岳恩吸了一口气开始他的自我介绍。
恩：大家好！我叫岳恩，今年23 岁。特别喜欢篮球但对任何运动都感兴
趣，觉得如果一个人的生活缺乏运动的话，那将会是一件很乏味的事。
我现在本来应该在美国念大学的但最后选择了留下来。人生是自己掌握

的，我不想让人摆布所以接下来的路完全得靠自己了。我这个人还蛮简
单，只要开心就行了。
导播：岳恩，你最欣赏的运动员是哪一位呢？
恩：没有最欣赏的但觉得姚明说的一些话还蛮有道理的。努力不一定成
功但放弃一定失败！像他虽然是球队的得分王但不是每件事都这么平步
青云。但每一次的全力以赴都让他对下一场比赛充满憧憬。“憧憬”这
两个字对运动员太重要了，有憧憬才会想到要努力，最终一定会成功
的！
叙述：
岳恩在试镜后显得有些挫折，他觉得自己还有好多东西没说完就被安排
离开了。
男A：Hey number 5，怎么样呀？
恩：我也不知道，顺其自然吧！
导播：真的非常感谢大家的参与。我们运动频道这次只需要一个主持
人，所以经过刚才的那轮试镜，我们很开心地选中了岳恩先生。
男A：喂brother，岳恩是不是你呀？
恩：是我！
男A：哇！Congrats man。
导播：岳恩，请你跟我走一趟，我们的总监还有一些细节要和你详谈。
叙述：
岳恩随着这位漂亮的女导播来到了总监Ricky 的办公室。
Ricky：岳恩，我知道你是行的。
恩：谢谢你Ricky，刚才试镜怎么没看见你。
Ricky：这完全是为了公平，所以特别请了我的好朋友洪秉祥来帮忙，他
说你真的很棒！

Ricky：哈。。。你应该赶快把好消息告诉家人吧！

叙述：
岳恩从背包里拿出了手机，竟发现他有19 个missed calls，而且都是敏
杉打来的，还在留言箱里留话。岳恩赶紧拨电听留言。
